Establish a Knowledge Platform of Theory, Process, and Appropriate Methods for Indigenous PHC and Policy Research

 

Activities

i. PHC Innovation of service, evaluation and research Knowledge Synthesis & Sharing.

ii. Host annual themed PHC innovation meeting to explore intersections of population health, social sciences, Indigenous Ways of Knowing and PHC research and policy.

iii. Annual meeting grant competition.


Outputs

i. Synthesis & circulation of emerging knowledge translated into community-accessible formats (e.g., newsletters, podcasts) on topics relevant to Network themes .

ii. Local contextualization of reviews/syntheses translated into community-accessible formats (e.g., newsletters, podcasts) on topics relevant to each theme prioritized in Development Grant Round-tables.

iii. Up to 25 funded community-based meetings & briefs; new grants, innovations, growing evidence.


Outcomes

i. Deepened knowledge around Development Grant Round-table themes.

ii. Integration of emerging & critical knowledge circulating internationally to grow vision for PHC innovation locally.

iii. Strengthened community-based capacity for research.
